High-rises on a riverside with fascinating views will breathe new life into one of the most underestimated Moscow districts.

HOW ONE PROJECT CAN CHANGE THE WHOLE DISTRICT

A district near Paveletskaya on the Moscow River bank, where the project is situated, is conveniently located in terms of transport accessibility; it is almost the center of the city, but industrial zones and a railway station historically interfered with its development. Now this situation is changing, and D8 should become a drive for progress and redevelopment of the place. How can one project change that whole district? «When the Moscow-City center appeared everything around it started to develop, -reflects the commercial director of Glavstroy Aleksey Gusev. - Or, for example, Stanford became a drive for the whole Valley development. Infrastructure will appear around our project too and other housing will follow».

WHY THE COMPLEX CONSISTS OF TOWERS

First of all, we wanted to show how a new city structure breaks out through the old one and brings changes. Secondly, while the district develops, the most attractive things for customers are the views. That’s why we searched for such typology that each high-rise building has the best city panorama views. Its architecture is inspired by closeness to the river: we want to have the wave curving from the bank which will result in connection of all three volumes.

HOW INDUSTRIAL ZONE IS CONNECTED WITH OLD MOSCOW

We suppose Muscovites, who love the old city, want to enjoy the views and watch their favorite city change, would like to buy a flat here. They will see their reflection amid the Kremlin and monasteries around.

TEAM

Brevity lovers and passionate researchers of the districts’ history and also authors of our Beregovoy, Ivan Grekov and his bureau Kamen are responsible for the architecture.
